Our Beginning Pilates Workouts are designed to provide a clear foundation for movement an an all-around muscle conditioning experience. With more or less assistance, resistance, and exercise intensity we can easily cater a workout to your individual needs. We will do mat work, apparatus work (reformer, tower, wundachair) and small prop work (theraband, magic circle, roller, and all balls).
Yoga with Daniel Live
This class is an all-levels approach to an Asana Flow class, with modifications and progressions offered for all. We begin by connecting to the breath and moving gently. We progress to bigger sweeping motions and strengthening standing poses along with balance and challenges to our appropriate level. Class ends with a relaxing cool down.
Intermediate Pilates (Gold)
Uplevel your understanding of Pilates as you delve deeply into the Pilates principles of flow, concentration, deep breathing, appropriate effort, and centeredness. Learning to work first from the core and activate appropriately in each exercise is the goal of this intermediate workout.
Live Rock and Ride! Outside
Learn road cycling techniques that will increase your power and speed while listening to classic Rock and R&B of the 60's - 80's. Strengthen your glutes, quads and hamstrings with a series of hill climbs, intervals and sprints that will rock your fitness and improve your groove! Come have some fun with Body Kinetics owner, Michael Jenkins.
Live Cycle & Sculpt Outside
In this live cycle class we will use dumbbells to build muscle strength while improving cardiovascular health. Appropriate for all levels.
Functional Fitness (Gold)
This class incorporates dynamic body movements to promote strength, balance and flexibility. You will use kettlebells, medicine balls, battle ropes, dumbbells, slam balls and TRX suspension trainers for a full body workout with an emphasis on utilizing your core muscles. The pace is fast and fun; you will smile, sweat and burn calories while being physically and mentally challenged! Revamp your workout routine and elevate your fitness level by enjoying the benefits of working in a small group atmosphere that delivers fast results!
Alignment Pilates (Gold)
This all levels Pilates workout is excellent for post-rehabilitation and re-patterning movements. The machines and the personalized attention make it easy to increase complexity and challenge over time while building coordination and dynamic strength. We will do mat work, apparatus work (reformer, tower, wundachair) and small prop work (theraband, roller, magic circle, and all Pilates balls).
